James Grace Local is currently recruiting for an experienced warehouse admin assistant to join a distribution business in Leicester Whestone area.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of the office. This role requires proficiency in various administrative tasks, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Pay rate £12.41 per hour
Duties
- Use a booking portal to schedule deliveries
- Prepare paperwork for intakes
- Use WMS to create and schedule deliveries
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up to date.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and electronic documents.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate smooth communication across departments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or similar role is required.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to follow instructions

- Experience working with WMS
- MS packaging experience required.

2pm-10pm
