Overview
James Grace is currently recruiting for skilled and dedicated Mechanics to join a growing company based in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing vehicles to manufacturer standard. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience to contribute to a dynamic organisation committed to safety and quality. Applicants should possess a proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Level 3 Vehicle technician is required for this position - 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing faults
• Servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Conducting routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
• Utilising hand tools, power tools equipment safely and effectively during repair procedures
• Maintaining detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Providing excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally and efficiently

Skills

• Level 3 Vehicle Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex issues
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail for record keeping
• Strong customer service orientation with professional communication skills
• Full UK Driving licence
