Position: Contract Transport Supervisor/Planner

This leading Distribution company is looking for an experienced Contract Transport Supervisor to join their team. The company is a well-established business, with a work force of 36-65 people.

Requirements

The successful applicant must have strong experience in logistics, and particular experience in transport planning. Knowledge of relevant IT systems and online services is highly desirable.

Job duties

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and organising the distribution network, including scheduling routes and ensuring that delivery deadlines are met. The successful applicant will also be required to liaise with customers and suppliers, ensuring that customer requirements are met.

Remuneration

This is a temp to perm role on offer with a rate of £13.50 per hour.
