James Grace Local is currently recruiting for an experienced team leader to work for a logistics company based in Bardon Industrial Estate.
The successful candidate will be working in a very busy operation dealing with permanent staff and agency workers.
Team leader responsibilities:
- Lead team to achieve the goals
- Planning the operation with management
- Booking agency staff
- Set clear expectations to the team
- Coaching and monitoring the staff
- Reporting any issues to the management team
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Identify systems or process improvements and make recommendations for change
- Ensure that all equipment is working and safe – report any issues if required
Essential skills for the team leader role:
- Health and Safety Focussed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in team leading position
- Hands on approach
- MS office package experience
- Effective time management skills

Team Leader hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 6am-2pm
- Some weekends might be required
- Flexibility is required
- Overtime
Pay:
- Hourly rate £10.50 per hour
- Increase after 12 weeks to £10.79 per hour
- Overtime paid at premium
