Service Engineer (Workshop Based) Coalville Area
Job Description:
The candidate for this position will be responsible for learning the technical aspects of the range of hobby and professional woodworking machinery.
They will assist customers who contact the company for technical support. Support requests come in by phone, email, and in person through the showroom.
Job Responsabilities:
- Customers will need advice on how to set up a machine
- Spare parts are to be shipped to them.
- Check stock, create an invoice, take payment, and dispatch the goods.
- Arrange for the machine to be brought back to our workshop for repair.
- Must be computer literate
- Stock system for parts and to keep records.
- Carrying out repairs to small woodworking machinery in our workshop.
- Carrying out quality control checks on batches of new machinery received by our warehouse.
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on machinery.new goods.
- Organising spare parts when delivered from our suppliers.
Essential Skills:
Some previous experience of mechanical or electrical engineering.
Experience of working with white goods or automotive would be very relevant.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 38.75 hours per week.
- Permanent position
Pay:
£24,180.00 up to £30,225.00 per year
