Service Advisor – Automotive

We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join a busy and growing automotive team. This is a key front-of-house role where you will act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle service and repair journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Booking in service and repair work efficiently
• Acting as the main liaison between customers and the workshop
• Keeping customers updated on progress and advising on any additional work required
• Organising loan vehicles where necessary
• Processing invoices and handling warranty claims
• Managing payments in line with company procedures
• Working towards hours sold targets and maintaining WIP (Work in Progress)
• Updating customer records using Kerridge and Dialog systems
• Making follow-up calls and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Service Advisor or similar automotive role preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Experience using dealer management systems such as Kerridge and Dialog is advantageous

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 6:00pm (typically 8:00am start with a 1-hour lunch break)
• Alternate Saturdays: 8:00am – 1:00pm
