James Grace Local is currently recruiting for an experienced Reach truck driver to join a distribution business based in Bardon Hill.
The successful candidate must have valid Reach and Counterbalance license.
Shift:
10am-7pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to load and unload materials, ensuring efficiency and safety in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials
- Perform basic mathematical calculations related to inventory
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks as needed
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage or loss
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements
Skills:
- Proficient in forklift operation and materials handling
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and minor repairs
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory processes
- Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus
