Press Brake Operator Wanted at POS Company
Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator looking for your next exciting opportunity? This is your chance to join a well-established POS Company based in the UK with 66-250 employees. This is a temp to perm role with an attractive rate of £12-£15 per hour.
James Grace Local is currently recruting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a POS manufacturing business based near Loughborough. The successful candidate will be offered a temp to perm contract and a full training on the new machinery.
This eventually will turn into a weekend shift only (4 days) overall 34.5 hours per week (it could vary) but the pay rate will be slighly higher to earn the same amount as working on a standard 37,5 hour per week shift. Candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday for the first 13 weeks, then will be moved on to a weekend shift from Thursday to Sunday. Please note, flexibility is a must in this role.
Standard working hours for the first 13 weeks is start 7.30am - 4.30 Monday to Thursday and offering an early finish on a Friday at 12.30pm. After the training the working hours will change to a 6am start, candidates must have own transport due to location of the company.
Job Description
This position will involve working with Sheet Metal machines, subject to the following:
- Operation of press brake machine, using the correct tooling to produce the required product
- Set-up and operation of other sheet metal machinery
- Operating to the set standard times and producing quality work
- Carrying out regular checks on machines and maintain accurate records
- Cleaning and maintaining the work area in accordance with safety standards
Requirements
- Experience in Machine Operator with particular experience skills in "press brake operator"
- Strong focus on safety in the workplace
- Ability to work unsupervised and also within a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
