- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily factory operations to meet production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
- Allocate resources effectively, including labour, materials, and machinery, to optimise productivity.
- Supervise and develop production teams, fostering a positive, efficient work environment.
- Implement quality control procedures and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, applying lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Manage inventory levels, coordinate with procurement, and ensure timely dispatch and delivery of finished goods.
- Oversee maintenance schedules, ensure equipment reliability, and address machinery breakdowns promptly.
- Maintain accurate production records and provide regular updates to senior management on operational performance.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and planning to support efficient factory operations.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within manufacturing environments.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of production workflows, safety, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with inventory management and supply chain basics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Educational background in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in small to medium-sized manufacturing facilities is desirable.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar efficiency frameworks is advantageous.
