We are looking for a reliable, flexible and hardworking Operations Assistant to join a busy catering and events team.

This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day operations of our catering business. You will have the opportunity to work across different sites and events, helping to ensure everything is prepared, delivered and set up to a high standard.

No two days will necessarily be the same, so this role would suit someone who enjoys a varied working environment and is happy to get involved wherever needed.

The Role

As an Operations Assistant, your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the smooth running of day-to-day catering operations

• Assisting with the preparation and set-up of events

• Delivering and collecting catering equipment, stock and supplies

• Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles

• Setting up and clearing down event sites

• Supporting the catering and events teams on-site

• Working across different venues and locations as required

• Ensuring equipment and supplies are handled safely and efficiently

• Helping maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation

• Carrying out general operational duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Flexible and adaptable with their working hours

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Practical and hands-on, with a willingness to get involved

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Comfortable working in a busy and sometimes fast-paced environment

• Professional and friendly when dealing with clients, venues and colleagues

• Willing to work evenings, weekends and varying hours depending on business and event requirements

Essential Requirements

Due to the nature of the role and our insurance requirements, candidates must:

• Be aged 21 or over

• Hold a full manual driving licence

• Be confident driving as part of the role

• Be willing and able to travel between different sites and event venues

• Have a flexible approach to working hours
