James Grace Local is currently recruiting for experienced warehouse operatives to join a Distribution site in Tamworth.
The successful candidate will be offered a long-term contract.
Night Shift available:
- Night shift 18:30-05:00 paying £12.21 plus shift allowance up to £15 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
- Perform picking and packing duties for orders, ensuring items are correctly selected and securely packaged.
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage.
Requirements
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred for efficient inventory control.
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.
- The ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively is essential.
- Prior experience in materials handling is an asset.
- Heights and scaling shelving will be involved
- Proficiency in picking and packing procedures is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
