We are currently on the hunt for an experienced mechanical design engineer based in Coalville to develop new crusher chambers and crusher machines for the quarry and aggregates industry. You will be working on mechanical solutions to improve installations and machinery efficiency. Mechanical Design Engineer responsibilities:
- Create drawings for production that are accurate, cost effective and easy to manufacture.
- Effective and competent on Solidworks
- Visit customer sites and survey existing structures
- Produce plant layouts and diagrams suitable for project tender
- Responsible for the mechanical and structural design of crushing and screening plant for the quarry and mining industry.
We are desperate to speak to candidates that have proficient experience in Solidworks and have previously worked within a heavy engineering environment as these skills will help you thrive within this business. We are also looking to speak to candidates that have previously worked within mechanical design engineer positions as these skills will be transferable into this position.
Mechanical design engineer benefits:
