James Grace Associates are currently recruiting for a Skilled Manual Machinist on behalf of our reputable client located in Coalville, Leicestershire.   • Operate and set manual machining equipment to produce components as per specified drawings and tolerances.
  • Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards and report any deviations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, complying with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Assist in the maintenance and basic servicing of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work completed.
  • Proven experience as a manual machinist or machine operator, with understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to operate manual lathes, mills, or similar machinery confidently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Health & Safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures.

Hours: Monday-Thursday-7am-3:30pm Friday: 6am-12pm
