Job Title: Machining & Paint Shop Support Operative (Temp to Perm)
Location: Coalville
Hours: Full-time
We are currently recruiting for a Machining & Paint Shop Support Operative to join our busy engineering company based in Coalville. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering long-term stability and full training and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the machining and paint shop departments
- Filling and grinding components to a high standard
- Paint spraying and preparation work
- Assisting with work around cylinder heads
- Operating a counterbalance forklift (valid licence required)
- Booking in parts and measuring components accurately
- General support duties across the workshop
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment with daily clean-up duties
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Experience with filling, grinding, or paint spraying (advantageous)
- Ability to measure and check parts accurately
- Strong work ethic and team player attitude
- Willingness to learn – training will be provided for the right person
