James Grace Local is currently recruiting for event staff (cleaners) to work for a local Cleaning company during a concert in Nottingham.
The successful candidates must have previous experience in cleaning.
Please note – the role is only available for 2 days! Saturday and Sunday 25 – 26.05.2024. Candidates must be able to work both days.
Available shifts:
- Day – 3pm – 10.30pm - £12.00 per hour
- Night – 11pm- 7am - £13.50 per hour

Job Summary:
Job responsibilities:
· Litter picking
· Wipe down surfaces
· Emergency response – clean up spillages etc
· Sweeping rubbish
· Disinfecting toilets (not cleaning)
· Respond to any cleaning or maintenance requests
· Collaborate with other event staff to ensure smooth coordination and positive guest experience
· Ability to work well under pressure
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
- Ability to handle basic cleaning equipment such as mops, brooms
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
Ideal candidate:
· Will have previous experience in a similar role
· Will be a team player
· Will be able to work under pressure
· Will be able to work both days of the event on a picked shift
· Will be able to get to and from work
