Event Manager

Pay: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Part-time, casual
Location: Various event venues

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Event Manager to join our catering team on a part-time, casual basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience in event management, hospitality, catering or a similar role who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional events.

As Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing events from set-up through to completion, ensuring everything runs smoothly and that our clients and guests receive a high standard of service.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing events on-site from set-up through to completion

• Acting as the main point of contact on the day for clients, suppliers and staff

• Coordinating the catering team and ensuring everyone understands their responsibilities

• Ensuring food and drinks service runs smoothly and to schedule

• Liaising with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

• Managing event timings and responding to any issues that arise

• Ensuring the venue is presented to a high standard

• Carrying out event set-up and close-down when required

• Maintaining excellent customer service throughout the event

• Ensuring health, safety and company standards are followed

• Helping to ensure every event is delivered professionally and successfully

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience in a similar event management, hospitality or catering role

• Be confident managing a team in a busy event environment

• Have excellent communication and organisational skills

• Be able to remain calm and professional under pressure

• Have a strong eye for detail and high standards of customer service

• Be confident dealing directly with clients and resolving issues

• Be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends and varying hours depending on event requirements

• Have a positive, hands-on approach and be willing to get involved wherever needed

Essential Requirements

Due to the nature of the role and our insurance requirements, applicants must:

• Be aged 21 or over

• Hold a full manual driving licence

• Have access to their own vehicle

• Be willing and able to travel to different sites and venues when required

The Role Offers
