James Grace Local is currntly recruiting for an experienced machine operator / factory worker.

PLease note, this role is based in a dusty environment.

This company supplies a wide range of heavy building materials to the construction industry.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Machine Operator to join a manufacturing business in Coalville area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems.

• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, troubleshooting any issues that arise during operation. .
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and improve processes.
• Document production activities accurately, including any discrepancies or machine malfunctions.

Ideal candidate

• Previous experience working in: Construction – Production line – Machine operating – Trowelling – General labour – FLT driver.
• Numerate, literate and able to understand metric measurements
• Happy to work in a hot, noisy and often dusty environment
• Own transport required due to rural location

Morning shift 4.45am-2.45pm

Monday to Thursday
