Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Executive to join a company is Coalville. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organisation adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position involves overseeing compliance management activities, conducting internal audits, and preparing regulatory reports. The Compliance Executive will work closely with various departments to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to assess adherence to compliance standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports to relevant authorities within stipulated deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the banking department to ensure all financial practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters, fostering awareness of compliance obligations.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and regulations that may impact the organisation’s operations and update policies accordingly.
  • Assist in risk assessments related to compliance issues and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Familiarity with banking operations and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficient in regulatory reporting processes and requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability in compliance management, ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear articulation of compliance issues to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
