Location: Ashby de la Zouch
Hours: Part-Time
Shift Pattern:
- Tuesday: 6:00pm – Finish
- Wednesday: 5:00pm – Finish
- Thursday: 5:00pm – 8:00pm
- Sunday: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Please note: Finishing times on Tuesday and Wednesday may vary depending on production and order volumes.
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Bakery Packing & Order Fulfilment Assistant to support a busy bakery operation in Ashby de la Zouch. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in ensuring products are packed accurately and presented to the highest standard.
You will be responsible for preparing freshly baked bread, cobs and cakes for dispatch, fulfilling customer orders, and helping to load delivery vehicles ready for distribution.
Key Duties
- Safely operate bread-slicing equipment to prepare products for packing.
- Pack, wrap and label bakery products accurately and attractively.
- Pick customer orders from stock sheets with a high level of accuracy.
- Prepare completed orders for dispatch and load delivery vans.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure all products meet bakery standards.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment in line with food safety regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move crates when required.
- Excellent attention to detail when picking, packing and labelling products.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A positive, reliable attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience within a food production or bakery environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
