We are currently looking for a Purchasing Manager with a strong knowledge of supply chain to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the purchasing team and managing the daily purchasing operations. This is a diverse role that will include tasks such as;
·Managing the supply chain, ensuring that spare part availability is sufficient for the customer base.
·Forecasting stock requirements and working with the warehouse operations to ensure that the levels are adequate at all times
·Researching products and negotiating pricing to maintain a list of suppliers that can offer the vest value for a quality product that can be delivered within the timescales required
·Being involved with tender negotiations
·Identifying new suppliers and building strong relationships with them
This position is available immediately and is offered on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will benefit from many things including;

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally possess the following;
·Proven experience of working within a similar role including contract negotiations, tenders and stock management
·Knowledge of SAP would be desirable although not essential
·Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve autonomously
·Strong team player with leadership skills and a desire to develop others.
