Job Description

My client, a global leader within the entrance solutions industry, are looking for an experienced automatic door engineer based in the Nottingham/Derby area to supplement the growth of their recently established industrial division. Your job will involve the following…

  • Service and repair of all types of automation products including sliding, swinging and telescopic.
  • Adhering to company and industry standards with regards to health & safety and customer interaction.
  • Taking part in the automatic door engineer OOH call-out rota, with financial reward for doing so.
  • Representing an established and respected brand within various settings, ensuring customers receive the highest level of service and offering technical support where required.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate…

  • Strong experience in the role of automatic door engineer, with knowledge on sliding, swinging, telescopic and revolving systems.
  • Talent working with both mechanical and electrical components.
  • Charismatic personality able to converse effectively with customers, co-ordinators and senior leadership.
  • Industry-specific qualifications such as BS EN16005, CSCS, 18th edition and IPAF.

The package available for this role includes…

  • Up to £28,000 starting salary.
  • Generous overtime package including double time for night work and weekends.
