James Grace Local is currently recruiting for tack welders to join an expanding business in Woodville / Swadlincote area.

This is a temp to perm position for the right candidate offering regular pay increases and overtime paid at premium.

Job responsibilities:

• General tacking (MIG welding / tacks)
• Assembling steel work
• Checking quality of the items
• Machine operating
• Hand & powered tools use

Ideal candidate:

• Must have previous experience in welding
• Knowledge of working with semi structural steel
• Knowledge of working with large items
• Attention to detail required

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7am- 5pm
• 2x 30mins breaks
• Overtime available after 5pm or weekends

Pay:

• Standard hours paid at £13.50 per hour - £14.00 per hour
• Overtime over 45 hours £16.88 per hour - £17.50 per hour
• Overtime Saturdays & Sundays £20.25 per hour - £21.00 per hour
