My client, a growing and reputable entrance systems company, are looking to recruit a site-based automatic door engineer to work on automated and manual pedestrian doors in one of their busy sites in East London. The role requires very good knowledge on these products and offers an excellent financial package.
Your job will involve the following...
- Repairing and servicing automated pedestrian doors and manual door sets at one location.
- Maintaining excellent customer relations.
- Completing jobs to a high standard with a strong first time fix rate.
- Adhering to health and safety protocol and company policy to complete the job in the best manner.
- No call-out Rota but availability for reactive works OOH as the site-based automatic door engineer.
The ideal candidate will have...
- Good experience working as an automatic door engineer ideally with Record, GEZE and Dormakaba products.
- Industry specific qualifications i.e BS EN 16005, 18th edition and product training courses.
- A great track record of working with a variety of product types including sliding, swinging, and telescopic systems.
- Talent working with both mechanical and electrical components.
- A desire to own the environment from a doors perspective and become the lead for all things doors at the site.

- OTE of circa £40k per annum
- £35,000 per annum basic for the right person, working a 40-hour week.
