We are currently looking for a skilled metal worker / welder in Leicester for an immediate start. You will be working in manufacture signage and shop frontage signs for businesses of highest quality. You will be part of a company which is at the forefront of sign manufacturing and are considered one of the UK's best manufacturers. This role comes with fantastic benefits and a great salary and progression values. The skilled metal worker / welder will have plenty of overtime opportunities available at premium rates and there is an early finish on Fridays. You will be working on a brand-new contract which has been won so there is plenty of work available and overtime at premium rates. 

Hours: 

• Mon – Thurs 7.45am-5pm
• Fridays 7.45am-2.45pm

Hourly rate:

• £14 to £16 per hour
• Overtime at premium rates

Skilled metal worker responsibilities: 

• Quality inspection of own work
• Basic welding 
• Welder will have MIG experience to succeed
• Working on a fast paced production line 
• Welding aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel components
• Strong communicator skills
• Reading engineering drawings
• Operating various machinery such as press brake machine
• Cutting metal
