Our client is currently recruiting for a new exciting position in the business for a Logistics & Procurement Co-ordinator to start with immediate effect. The client is an exciting manufacturing company based in the heart of Coalville and are expanding since the turn of the year.
This is a high priority role due to the increasing demand of Brexit and logistics industry.
This role will be heavily involved within the logistics and order process from start to finish, helping secure new clients and solidify relations with current clients.
The salary for the Logistics & Procurement Co-ordinator role: £20,000 - £21,000 with the potential to rise to £25,000 after training and development within the business.
Full list of day to day duties of a Logistics & Procurement Co-ordinator are below:
Procurement tasks:
- Sub-con ordering; from the dashboard
- Parts ordering
- Parts requests from the shop floor
- PPE requests from the shop floor
- Goods In receipt of parts
- Managing spare parts requests from customers; purchasing parts, receipt & despatch of parts
Logistics tasks:
- Raising delivery notes
- Processing Ishida labels
- Dealing with carriage requests from Sales/Customers
- Processing Greener carriage charges, for SO and invoicing
- Arranging couriers for UK and European shipments via Intercity or Advance Forwarding
- Booking other shipments via UPS/DHL
- Organising Commercial invoices/EUR1/ATR
- UPS customs clearance and queries
- POD’s; matching POD with SO for accounts
- UPS/DHL invoices
