My client, local thriving company based in Exeter are on the search for a multi-skilled engineer who has skillset for both life safety systems such as fire alarms and security systems. They are looking to bolster their highly skilled roster purely stemming from winning of contracts around the local area. 


Your job as Security engineer will involve the following...

  • Working predominantly on Security systems such as; Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV systems
  • Knowledge of working on fire alarms – is desirable but not essential
  • Working in conjunction with management and the rest of the team
  • Providing a high level of customer service


The ideal candidate will have...

  • Industry experience at engineer level – Servicing / maintaining of Fire Alarms, Security systems such as; intruder alarm, CCTV and access control
  • Experience working with top branded systems such as; Paxton, Hikvision, Texecom, Honeywell, Avigilon, Panasonic but to name a few 
  • A full clean driving license
  • Be located around Exeter – mainly local work but contracts travel as far as Dorset / Somerset
  • A desire to progress through a company


In return you will a generous financial package which includes…

  • £28,000 to £32,000 basic salary DOE. Typical earnings for engineers at this company are £33,000 to £37,000 per annum.
  • On call rota 1 in 5 weeks. Moving to 1 in 6 with the recruits of new employees
  • Fully expensed tools, PDA, Phone, Tools, Company Vehicle 
  • Any desirable training you find will at your disposal through the company
  • Further training, ongoing development opportunities
