We are looking for a customer service professional to come and work for a nationwide insurance company based in Ashby de la Zouch. You will be working within a friendly team that is very driven to make the customer satisfied with every phone call or query put forward. This is an excellent company to work for with a great salary, benefits and training package which comes with the job. 

Working hours 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. 

Customer Service duties:

  • Under general supervision and within limits of authority and product licences, support agents in respect of agency sales, growth and retention targets and also agency customer service standards.
  • Deal with insurance related issues for customer groups to meet their financial needs.
  • Customer Services related administration as required.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of General Insurance products, as applicable to product licences.
  • Develop and sustain effective working relationships with customers, all members of Agency.
  • Implement customer money collection and processing procedures to maintain Agency credit control.

We are desperate to speak to candidates who have previous experience in the insurance industry or have a background of improving peoples experience through effective problem solving. 

Customer Service responsibilities:

  • Review and advice upon customer general insurance requirements on the phone and face to face.
  • Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities and activities to new and existing customers.
  • Make outbound calls to prospect new customers and meet personal sales targets.

Suitable customer service consultant must be able to commit to 6 months comprehensive training and testing. This includes online learning, courses, exams, assessments and role play.
