We are currently on the hunt for CNC turners based in Coalville. You will be working for a market leading manufacturer of aftermarket crusher spare parts. This position involves operating / setting and the occasional programming of multi axes turning machines producing large, high value parts as one offs and in small batches. This role is offering a progressive career path and plenty of opportunities for training to better yourself. You will be rewarded with a high base salary and incentives such as production bonus.
Working hours:
- 4 on and 4 off
- 06:00am to 18:00pm
CNC Turning duties:
- Operating Heidenhain turning machines with experience of offline programming iTNC530 and iTNC640
- The ability to troubleshoot programs, edit and resolve problems as they arise is essential.
- Must be able to accurately inspect your own work using a variety of standard measuring equipment, including micrometres and vernier callipers
- A competent understanding of Technical Engineering drawings
- Safely use overhead cranes, gantry cranes and handling points that weigh up to 10 tonnes.
- Able to manage workload with a focus on quality, accuracy and efficiency.
We are desperate to speak to candidates who have previously worked on Heidenhain controls or have Heidenhain turningmachines as this will ne crucial on succeeding within this role. We are happy to speak to cnc turners who have previously on different machines but know of heidenhain machines. If you have worked within the crusher spares industry before and have knowledge of components I will speak to you too!
